This is the part companies worry about most, and they are right to.
Your old machines are full of information. Client files. Bank details. HR records. Emails from people who left three years ago. Scanned passports sitting in a printer nobody thinks of as a computer. Option one
Keep them yourself
We hand every drive back to you in a box, labelled, and you lock it in a cupboard. No extra charge. Not one dirham. Some companies want to hold their own data for a few more years, and that is a completely reasonable thing to want.
We will tell you honestly what this does to your price before you choose — a working drive does have resale value, so keeping them can lower the offer slightly. You should be deciding with the numbers in front of you, not afterwards.
Option two
We destroy them
We shred, wipe or degauss each one, depending on what it is. You get a certificate afterwards with every serial number on it. Nothing readable leaves your building in a state anybody could recover.
If your policy says the drives must never leave at all, we bring the shredder to you and your own staff watch it happen. Also at no extra cost.
Either way, you can answer the question "where did our data go?" with a document instead of a shrug. And either way, it does not cost you anything extra.
Most buyers will not offer you the first option, because a drive is worth money and they would rather keep it. We would rather you slept at night.

We run one licensed processing facility, in Al Quoz, Dubai, and scheduled collection vehicles into all seven emirates. We are deliberately clear that there are no branch offices elsewhere — a single controlled facility is precisely what makes serial-level tracking and a verifiable chain of custody possible, and a network of unstaffed drop-off points could not produce either.

What Counts as IT Scrap?
Short answer: more than most people expect.
IT scrap goes by a lot of names — e-waste, electronic waste, tech waste, scrap material. They all mean the same thing: electrical or electronic equipment that has reached the end of its working life in your business. And it is not just computers.
The items people forget are usually the ones that matter most. The printer in the corner has a drive inside it that has copied every document scanned through it. The CCTV recorder in the cupboard holds months of footage of real people. The old file server behind the boxes still has the accounts on it from before the last system change.
A simple rule works well here. If it plugs in, has a circuit board, or ever stored information, put it on the list. If you are not sure, photograph it and ask us.

One thing worth knowing: under UAE Federal Law No. 12 of 2018, all of this is a controlled waste stream. It cannot legally go in your building bins, and building management in most towers will not sign off a move-out while it is still sitting in a store room.
