Data Sentry operates a single licensed processing facility in Al Quoz Industrial Area, Dubai, and runs scheduled collection vehicles into all seven emirates. There are deliberately no branch offices elsewhere: one controlled facility is what makes serial-level tracking and a verifiable chain of custody possible, which a network of unstaffed drop-off points cannot provide.
What does Data Sentry actually do with collected equipment?
Equipment is triaged first. Working hardware is sanitised and remarketed, which pays more and is better environmentally than shredding it. Dead units are harvested for components such as processors, memory and drives. What remains is separated into metals, plastics and circuit boards for downstream processing. Storage devices are destroyed or returned to you before any of this happens.

Can we keep our own hard drives instead of having them destroyed?

Data Sentry removes every drive by hand before machines leave your building, and you choose what happens next: we hand them back to you in a labelled box, or we shred, wipe or degauss them and certify each serial number. If your policy requires it, drives can be destroyed on your premises while your staff watch.
